Being able to process electronic invoices, making full use of discounts and fewer transmission errors by eliminating manual activities – the automobile dealer LUEG has noticed improvements on many levels through the introduction of the automated, SAP-integrated invoice receipt workflow of the xSuite Group.
Fahrzeug-Werke LUEG AG is one of the largest car dealership groups in Germany, with headquarters in the Ruhr area and further locations in Saxony and central Switzerland. Founded in Bochum in 1868, the car factory has grown into a group with 13 companies, over 30 locations and around 1,600 employees. With eight automobile brands, LUEG covers the entire spectrum: from Mercedes-Benz and Volvo to Ferrari, from the smallest smart car to trucks and buses.
The right software equipment supports the growing company in its daily business. SAP Carbon, a special SAP version for car dealers from the consulting firm MHP (a Porsche Company) based on the SAP standard (DBM) Dealer Business Management, has been in use since 2010. LUEG uses it to organize its entire core processes of vehicle ordering, delivery, invoicing etc. The dealer was thus able to reduce double work in sales, workshop and accounting by around 80 %.
